Radon- According to the EPA, radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas produced by the breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. It can migrate into your home through the lowest level (basement, crawl space or slab). We have been certified to perform a short-term (48 hour) test using the Sun Nuclear Corp. Model #1027 device to determine the level of radon within a structure. We offer a free radon monitoring test with each basement finishing project we are contracted to complete. Additional testing utilizing long-term canisters are also available.
